when people speak of talent, we think of singing, dancing,acting,drawing, things of that sort, but talent is much more than that. its a power of mind or body considered as given to a person for use and improvement.(from the parable in Matt. 25:14–30.) this could be, being able to speak to people, when they are needing advice,Listening to others or even u just using your blessings to bless other. helping people with wutever..... Even just a smile is a form of talent, coz just a smile from someone can change a life, we never know!... Sometimes we are unclear of what our talent is, tho we may be using it, just pray and ask God for to show u and ask for understanding. untill u get ur answer, jus keep doin the God's work and am sure u wudnt fail. ;)
WOW that is so true jreed.. many of us just dont think about it in that way hey.. comin to think about it i have a friend whose talent is giving more than she can actually afford to, another whose talent is to smile in the most troubling of circumstance and another whose is to just simply not impose her opinion on others and many many more..wow now, when you put it that way, God has really given each and every one of us an abundance of talents..there are no excuses

lemonadefromlemons and Jreed thank you for that awesome and powerful reminder! its kind of hard when you see other people with such self-evident gifts and it makes you almost envious of theirs and worried that yours will not 'show' as it were. but my question is how do you use those subtle gifts to make a difference. Say a beautiful smile is your gift, how do you use it to glorify God?
@ RR,smiles are contagious, from smiles come happiness, from happiness comes Joy, but joy is merely OF God. A joyful heart can't stay silent. Domino effect, it spreads!! ;)
