retail Therapy of the week 2

So there has clearly been quite the drought in terms of retail therapy on this blog
but have no fear i am baaaaaccckkkk with some scrumptious goodies for ya'll who enjoy
delighting in all things fashion...

okay so i have been feasting my eyes quite a bit this year..note.. feasting my eyes and not feasting
FROM the account.. *sigh*.. one day people, one day.. least i starve i have mastered the art of restraint..(somewhat).

Incase you lovely people have not noticed ... spring is here..*yeyyyyyyy*... and although, if you live in a climate like the UK, you can't really boast of fabulous weather you can still boast in a potential change of wardrobe...huraaarrrrrr... i say potential in acknowledgement of the fact that the whole "the credit crunch is over" buzz was clearly a HOAX...kmt.. they have obviously masked it with the whole tax incriments blablabla..

Excuse my ignorance, i have no patience for all things economics unless it is to tell me that there is some kind of equation that will allow me to be able to purchase the Marc Jacobs bag i drooled over yesterday, if not, then please keep it to yourself.

Sorry people fashion is the only place i am allowed to forget all else and become utterly shallow! God knew what he was doing when he graced this earth with people that posess such artistic and creative talents. Thank you Jesus!

So here we go..

The general spring trends for 2011

LACE:

Zac Posen (*sigh*such youthful talent!!)

Louis Vuitton (lace and Geisha who
woulda thought)
1 am sure you ladies are seing it everywhere so please grab one off the rack and RUUNN. I think lace is too hott to pass on. have it skanty have it classy whatevs works for you (though you know which we would prefer) but either way just HAVE IT. And buy it so you can keep it. Lace ALWAYS comes back. unlike those skirts with a triangle bottom.. we HOPE!!

HYPER COLOUR:

WOOP WOOP .. I love ANY excuse to slap on more colours than necessary so i shall surely be enjoying this year's spring trend. colour makes the world go round goodbye dull winter hues.

Gucci spring 2011 collection

Jennifer Lopez clearly didn't waste any time getting on them spring colours so why should we. If you live in the vicinity of an H&M go check it out..am loving their AFFORDABLE bold colours.

And to top it off.. in the wise words of miss Jenniffer Lopez herself.. "i'm throwing on my Louboutins" (yes..in my dreams of course)

Last but not least... PRINT:

i really really love print, most especially animal print, and it is literally EVERYWHERE. There are so many cute print items out there that I have to do everything humanly possible to refrain from finding myself  walking out looking like I just skinned a leopard and clothed myself in it. Lets keep it at a minimum people. My FAVE print accessory?? shoes, shoes, shoes and BAGSSSS.

Am loving people that are being more daring and creative with the print

Don't you Just wanna cry?
Jason Wu..Kick ass man..

Burak Uyan

don't they just bring a tear to the eye? anyway moving on ....

Loving what FENDI is doing with the whole concept

But even more .. Love, Lov, Loving Buyak Uyan

For the more daring and Funky amongst us..i give you Jérome Dreyfuss and Burberry Porsum.
